Bada Bing

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*"Bada Bing" PTU scrap kit by Pimp My Tags with Scraps which is available for purchase HERE. Visit their blog HERE

*Font of Choice

*Tag Template #154 by Ali HERE

*Tube of choice. I used the beautiful artwork of Marco Guaglione, which can be purchased at MPT. Please do not use the same tube without the proper license.

Let's Begin--

Open the template in PSP. Shift + D to duplicate it then close the original. Delete the top credits layer.

Click the large circle layer. Go to Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat, open a paper of choice from the kit, go to selection-invert, hit your delete key. Selections-Select None. Delete the original template layer. Add drop shadow of 0,0,88,8.

Repeat the above steps for the rest of the parts of the template using different papers. Be sure to delete the original template layers after you create new ones with your papers.

Open a frame of choice from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Resize it by about 85%. Use your freehand selection tool to select around the frame like this--

Open another paper of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, go to Selections-Invert, hit your delete key. Move the paper layer below the frame layer.

Open your tube of choice. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it if needed and position it in the frame but make sure it's on top of the frame. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,88,8 to the tube. Duplicate the tube and drag the original tube layer below the frame layer but above the paper layer. Close off the top copy of the tube and click on the original one. Use your eraser tool to erase the parts of the tube that are sticking out from underneath the bottom part of the frame. Now open up the top copy of the tube and click on that layer. Use your eraser tool again to erase the bottom parts of the tube all the way up the the inside edge of the bottom part of the frame. This will give your tube the look to be coming out of the frame. Now add the drop shadow to the frame.

Add any other elements from the kit that you wish to add. I added a couple of flowers and a couple of the word art labels. See my tag for reference.

Crop and resize your tag.

Add your name and copyright information.

Save as PNG for a transparent background.
