Black Lace Affair
My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro! Supplies Needed: *Paint Shop Pro *Animation Shop *Font of choice *"Black Lace Affair" PTU scrap kit by Toni's Scraparoni which is available for purchase at Sophisti-Scraps HERE *Tube of choice. I am using the artwork of Marco Guaglione which is available for purchase at MPT. Please do not use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so. Filters: Mura's Meister-Copies DSB Flux-Bright Noise
Let's Begin-- Open a 650 X 650 white canvas Open a round frame of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, click inside the frame with your magic wand, go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 5, add a new raster layer, flood fill with black or color of choice, Selections-Select none. Move the flood filled layer below the frame layer. Open your tube in PSP, resize as needed, position where you want it on top of the frame, duplicate the tube and drag the bottom copy of the tube layer below the frame layer. Close off the top copy of your tube and click on the bottom copy. Use your eraser tool to erase the parts of the tube that are sticking out from behind the frame on the bottom and right side of the frame. Open up the top copy of the tube and click on that layer. Now use your eraser tool again to erase the bottom and right side parts of the frame until you are all the way up to the inside edge of the frame. Add a drop shadow to the top copy of the tube if you wish but you might have to use the eraser tool to erase parts of the shadow that will show along the edges of where you erased the top tube. Open a flower/swirl bling thing of choice (LOL), copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it down by about 80%, go to Effects-Mura's Meister-Copies....and use these settings:
Click Ok! You may need to resize the circle you just made a little bit as well. Open a feather fan of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it down by 70%, use the Copies filter again with the same settings, click ok. Resize it down so that it's slightly smaller than the flower swirl circle and add a drop shadow to the feather circle. Click on the flower swirl circle, duplicate it twice, close off the top 2 copies and click on the bottom one. Go to Effects-PlugIns-DSB Flux-Bright Noise, change the number to 75 and make sure mix is ticked, click ok. Close off that layer, open up the next one, go back to Bright Noise, click the mix button once and click ok. Close off that layer and open up the top one and click on it. Go back to Bright Noise and click on mix twice then click ok. Now close off the top one and open back up the bottom one. Add any other elements from the kit that you wish to add. Add your name! Crop and resize as needed. Add artist copyright information. Right click and choose copy merged. Open Animation Shop, right click and choose paste as new animation. Go back to PSP, close off the open flower swirl layer with the Bright Noise effect and open the next one up. Copy merged. Go back to AS, right click and paste after current frame. Back to PSP, close off that layer and open up the last layer, copy merged. Back to AS, paste after current frame. Play your animation to check it then save as gif!
