Denim and Daisies

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*Font of Choice

*"Denim & Daisies" PTU scrap kit by Yarrow of Fall3n Angel Scrapz available for purchase at Digital Chaos

*Tube of Choice. I used the sexy artwork of Keith Garvey available for purchase at MPT. Please do not use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so.

Let's Begin--

Open a 650X650 White canvas

Open a paper of choice from the scrap kit. Colorize to match your tube if needed. Set your foreground color to this paper as a pattern. Background null. Grab your preset shape tool and set it to rounded rectangle. Draw out a long, thin horizontal rectangle like shown in my tag. Convert to raster layer. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,88,8. Duplicate it and move the duplicate underneath it as shown in my tag (where the blue rectangles are).

Choose one of the buttons from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize by about 35% (depending on the size of your rectangles), add the drop shadow and place on your top rectangle like shown in my tag. Duplicate it and move it over a little bit and keep duplicating and moving them over until you have a row of buttons on top of the top rectangle. Close your background layer and your 2 rectangle layers leaving only the buttons and merge visible. Duplicate the merged button layer and move it down on top of the bottom rectangle.

Choose a different paper from the kit. Set it to your foreground as a pattern, background null. Draw out 2 more rectangles about the same size as the others, but this time make them vertical and place them on top of the horizontal rectangle and to the left hand side. Once you have done that, add the drop shadow. Add a few elements on top of the 2 vertical rectangle. I added 2 flowers and a butterfly as you can see in my tag. Be sure to add a drop shadow to each one. Resize and colorize if needed as well.

Open one of the round frames from the kit, colorize and resize as needed. Grab your magic wand and click inside the frame, Selections-Modify-Expand by 10. Open another paper from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas. Go to Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Drag the paper below the frame.

Open your tube, copy and paste it onto your canvas. Erase the parts that are overlapping the frame at the bottom. Add a drop shadow.

Add a bow from the kit! Add a doodle from the kit on top of the background layer. Add a drop shadow.

Add your artist copyright information and name.

Save as jpg!
