Fetish Girl

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*Animation Shop

*Fat Font and scripty font of choice, I used Bowell Beralta & Laine

*"Fetish" PTU kit by TammyKat Designs of Pimp My Tags w/ Scraps available for purchase HERE. Visit the PMTW/S blog HERE.

*DSB Flux Bright Noise

*Xenofex 2 Constellation

*Xero Fritillary

*Tube of choice. I used the awesome artwork of Elias Chatzoudis which can be purchased at  MPT. Please do not use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so.

Let's Begin--

Open a 700 X 500 white canvas.

Open the black oval frame from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Resize it by 85%. Click inside of the frame with your magic wand, go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 4, copy and paste a paper of choice from the kit, Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Click on the frame layer and add a drop shadow of 0,0,88,8.

Change your foreground color to black and your background color null. Click on your text tool and choose your fat font, size between 85-100 depending on the font, stroke width at 5, and type out your name. Place it in the middle of the frame but on top, and convert to raster layer.

Grab your magic wand and hold down the shift key then click inside each letter of your name. Selections-Modify-Expand by 3, add a new raster layer, flood fill with a matching color of choice, Selections-Select none. Move the flood fill layer below your name layer. Go to Effects-PlugIns-Xero-Fritillary and apply these settings to the flood filled layer:

Now duplicate this layer twice and close off the top 2. Click on the original and go to Effects-PlugIns-Xenofex 2-Constellation and apply these settings:

Close off that layer, open the next one up and click on it. Go back to Constellation and click random seed once. Close off this layer and open up the last one and click on it. Go back to Constellation and click random seed twice. Close off this layer and open the original one.

Click on the black outline name and add drop shadow 0,0,88,8.

Add a couple of elements from the kit into the frame. See my tag for reference.

Open the gold splat from the kit. Click on your background layer then copy and paste the gold splat onto your canvas. Resize down to about 85% and place behind everything on your tag.

Open your tube of choice in PSP. Copy and paste it onto your canvas and resize it down to fit in your tag next to the frame and other parts of the tag. Add a drop shadow and place on the left side.

Set your foreground and background to a lighter matching color. Grab your text tool and choose your scripty font. Set your font size to around 48 and stroke 2. Type your name again on and convert to raster layer. Move it on top of your name that is already there but to the bottom, see my tag for reference.

Duplicate this name layer twice. Close off the top 2 s layers and click on the bottom one. Go Effects-PlugIns-DSB Flux, change the number to 75 and make sure mix is selected. Close off that layer and open up the next one. Go back to DSB Flux Bright Noise but click the mix button once. Close off that layer and open up the last one, go back to the plug in and click the mix button twice. Close off that layer and open up the bottom one. Now add a drop shadow to each one of those layers and make sure the top 2 are closed and the bottom one is open.

At this time, crop and resize as needed then add your copyright information.

Right click on your canvas and choose copy merged. Open Animation Shop. Paste as new animation. Go back to PSP, close off the bottom layers of both your fat font name and your script font name and open up the second layers of both. Copy merged. Go back to AS and paste after current frame. Go back to PSP, close off the second copy of those layers and open up the top copy of both, copy merged. Back to AS, paste after current frame. Play animation to check it then save as gif!
