Fly Away

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*Font of choice

*"Flightless Bird" PTU kit by Cora's Creations available for purchase at Totally Sweet Designs HERE. Visit her blog HERE

*Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

*Tag template #198 by Missy of Divine Intentionz HERE

*Tube of choice. I used the gorgeous fantasy art of Zindy S.D. Nielsen which can be purchased from her website  HERE. Please do not use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so.

Let's Begin--

Open the template in PSP. Hit SHIFT+D on your keyboard to duplicate the template and close the original. Go to Image-Canvas size, and change the numbers to 650. Click on the background and flood fill with white.

Click on the square layer. Go to Selections-Select All, Selections-Float, Selections-Defloat, then open a paper of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, go to Selections-Invert, then hit your delete key. Selections-Select none. Delete the original square layer. Click on your new square layer, go to Effects-PlugIns-Eye Candy 4000-Gradient Glow. Change the glow width to 3, click on the color tab then click on FAT, click ok. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,88,8.

Repeat the above steps for rectangles 1, 2, & 3.

Open the sparkle splash from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Resize it by 80%.

Open the sparkle from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas and resize it by 80%.

Open the round flower frame from the kit (or a frame of your choice). Copy and paste it onto your canvas and resize it by 80%. Use your freehand selection tool to select around the middle of the frame. Copy and paste a paper of choice, go to Selections-Invert, hit your delete key. Selections-Select None. Move the paper below the frame.

Copy and paste your tube of choice onto your canvas, drag it below the frame layer. Resize as needed and use your eraser tool to erase the parts that are sticking out from the frame. Click on the frame layer and add a drop shadow.

Add any other elements you would like from the kit. I added a flower and a couple of birds!

Add your name and text of choice.

Crop and resize as needed.

Add artist's copyright!

Save as jpg!
