My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro! Supplies Needed: *Paint Shop Pro *Font of choice, I used Century Gothic *"Girlz Rock" PTU kit by Twinky Dezines available for purchase on her website HERE. Visit Twinky's blogHERE. *Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow *Mask of Choice *Tube of choice. I used the awesome artwork of Electronic Rainbow with permission as a member of Chaos Angels. Let's Begin-- Open a 600 X 600 white canvas. Open one of the round frames of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it to around 70-75%, add drop shadow. Open one of the bracket frames from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 80%, and rotate it to the right by 15 degrees. Use your lasso tool to select around the edges of the frame like this:
Open a paper of choice, copy and paste it into your canvas, go to Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Copy and paste your tube of choice onto your canvas. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,88,8. Duplicate it and close off the top copy. Move the bottom copy below the frame then use your eraser tool to erase the parts that are sticking out like this:
Open up the top copy of your tube. Use your eraser tool to erase the parts up to the edges of the frame and also the parts that are on top of the wrapped bow, like this:
Click on your bracket frame layer and add drop shadow. Open a string of choice from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 65%, place it on top of the tag making it look as though it is stapled to the frame, see my tag for reference. Add drop shadow. Open a bow of choice from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 25%, add drop shadow, and place where you would like or see my tag for reference. Open a safety pin of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 25%, rotate to the left by 10 degrees, add drop shadow and place on top of the bow like shown in my tag. Click on your background layer and then copy and paste a paper of choice from the kit onto your canvas. Apply your mask of choice and merge group. Go to Effects-Texture Effects-Blinds with these settings: Width: 3 Opacity: 25 Color: Black Horizontal & Light from Left/Top both checked Add your name. Go to Effects-PlugIns-Eye Candy 4000-Gradient Glow, play around with the settings and colors to get a similar effect that I got. Once you are done, add a drop shadow. Crop and resize as needed, then add copyright information and save as jpg.
