I Love Snow
.
My tutorial require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!
Supplies Needed:
*Paint Shop Pro
*font of choice
*Tag Template #104 from
Designs by Ali
*"Snow Princess" PTU kit by
Tammys Scraps
*Tube of choice. I am using the adorable artwork of Moshilove
from MPT. This tube was part of the
Christmas gift tubes that were sent to those with a valid MPT license. I do not
know if it will be available for purchase in their store.
Let's Begin--
Open template in PSP. Shift+D to duplicate. Close the
original.
Add a new raster layer, drag it to the very bottom, flood fill it with white.
Open a paper of choice from the kit. Click the large heart layer of the
template. Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat, copy and paste the paper onto
your canvas, Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Add a white gradient glow if you
want. Delete the original large heart layer from the template.
Open your tube of choice. Copy and paste it onto your canvas and place it in the
center of the large heart. Add a drop shadow.
Open the Christmas tree clip art from the kit, resize as needed, copy and paste
into your canvas, position to the left side of your tube, add drop shadow.
Click on the large snowflake layer. Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat, add a
new raster layer, flood fill with a dark color from the kit, Selections-Select
None. Delete original large snowflake layer from the template. Add a drop
shadow.
Click on the "I Love Snow" text layer. Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat,
add a new raster layer, flood fill with the same color, selections-select none.
Delete the original "I love snow" layer. Add a gradient glow if you wish and a
drop shadow to the "I Love Snow" text.
Open the stocking from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize as
needed, add drop shadow. Move it up so that the loop part is on top of the "w"
from the text and then take your eraser tool and eras a very small portion to
make it look like the stocking is hanging off the "w".
Open the candy canes, copy and paste them onto your canvas, resize them, and
place them behind the stocking but leave some sticking out so that they appear
to be inside of the stocking. Add drop shadow.
Add name and copyright information. Crop and resize if needed.
Save as jpg!
