Jealousy
My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro! Supplies Needed: *Paint Shop Pro *Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow (optional) *Font of choice, I used Black Jack HERE *Tag Template 188 by Missy of Divine Intentionz HERE *"Jealousy" PTU Tag kit by Helly, available for purchase from Cotton Candy Kreations HERE. Please visit Helly's blog HERE. *Tube of choice. I used the gorgeous artwork of Keith Garvey which can be purchased from MPT. Please do not use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so.
Let's Begin-- Open a 650 X 650 White Canvas. Open the template in PSP. Shift+D to duplicate it and close the original. Delete the credits layer. Go to Image-Canvas size, change the numbers to 650 X 650 and click ok. You will probably need to click on the background layer and flood fill with white. Click on the circle layer in your layers palette. Go to Selections-Select All, Selections-Float, Selections-Defloat, open a paper of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, go to Selections-Invert, hit your delete key. Selections-Select None. Delete the original circle layer. Repeat the above step for the 4 thin horizontal rectangles using different papers, see my tag for reference. Now repeat the above steps for the large main rectangle. Set your foreground color to black and your background null. Grab your rectangle shape tool and set the width to 10. Draw out a rectangle on top of the large rectangle you already have, you are making a frame for it, then convert to raster layer. Move it if needed to make it fit over the rectangle. Copy and paste your tube of choice onto your canvas. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,88,8. Duplicate the tube and drag the original below the frame layer that you just made. Close off the top copy of the tube. Use your eraser tool to erase the parts of the tube that are sticking out BELOW the frame only. Open back up your top tube copy and click on that layer, use your eraser tool again to erase the bottom parts of the tube up to the inside edge of the frame. This gives the tube the appearance of being behind the frame at the bottom and above the frame at the top. Now add the same drop shadow we just used to the frame layer and to the circle and small horizontal rectangles. Open the torn paper from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Resize it by 80% and rotate it to the right by 90 degrees. Drag it below the rectangle layer behind the frame you made. Add a drop shadow, duplicate it, Image-Mirror. Add a couple of doodles from the kit behind all of your layers. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,55,5 to the doodles. Add any other elements from the kit that you wish to add. Add a word art of choice from the kit. Add your name (I used the Gradient Glow on my name) then crop and resize if needed. Add copyright information. Save as jpg!
