Kiss of an Angel

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*"Bliss" PTU  Starving Artist Feb 2010 scrap kit by Designs by Sarah of Pimp My Tags with Scraps which is available for purchase HERE. Visit their blog HERE

*Tag Template #328 by Missy HERE

*Font of Choice, I used 2Peas Scrumptious

*Tube of choice & close up. I used the awesome artwork of Keith Garvey, which can be purchased at MPT. Please do not use the same tube without the proper license.

Let's Begin--

Open the template in PSP, SHIFT+D to duplicate it, close the original. Delete the credits layer and the word art layer.

Click on the circle 1 layer. Go to selections-select all, float, defloat, open a paper of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, selections invert, hit your delete key, selections select none. Add a drop shadow, delete the original circle 1 layer.

Repeat the above step for the circle 2, circle 3, rectangle, shape 1 and frame background layers of the template. Use different papers for each one.

I decided to delete and not use the hearts and dotted lines layers of the template. But if you want to use them you can do the above steps for those as well or flood fill with a matching color instead of using a paper.

Open your tube of choice. C/P it onto your canvas, resize as needed, position and add a drop shadow.

If you have a matching close up image of your tube, then you can do this next part. If not, then you don't have to worry about it :)

Click on the shape layer, go to selections select all, float, defloat, copy and paste your close up, selections-invert hit your delete key. Change the layer properties of the close up to Luminance(L) and lower the opacity to around 46.

Open the winged frame from the kit. C/P it onto your canvas, resize as needed, rotate it about 20 degrees to the left, then drag the layer behind the tube layer. Using your eraser tool, erase the hearts and the other parts of the frame leaving only the wings showing behind the tube.

Add a few more elements from the kit to your tag, see my tag for reference.

Crop and resize as needed.

Add name and copyright information.

Save as jpg!
