Loneliness

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:
*Paint Shop Pro

*Animation Shop

*DSB Flux Bright Noise

*"Elegance" freebie scrap kit by Lisa from Sophisticated Scraps. You will find a link to all of her freebie kits on her blog HERE

*Font of Choice

*Image or Tube of Choice. I used one of the beautiful free images by the talented Zindy Nielsen. You can find her free to use tubes on her website HERE

*Mask of Choice

Let's Begin--

Open a 600X500 white canvas

Open one of the butterflies and one of the flowers from the scrap kit.
Choose a color from one of those elements and set it as your foreground color. Set your background null. Grab your pre-set shape rectangle tool, width 8, and draw out a rectangle. Use my tag as a reference for size. Objects-Align-Center in Canvas. Convert to raster layer.

Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance & feather set to 0, click inside the rectangle, Modify-Expand by 1, Add a new raster layer, flood fill with white. Selections-Select None. Move the white rectangle layer below the colored rectangle outline. Add a drop shadow of 0,0,69,8 to the colored rectangle outline.

Copy and paste your tube onto the white rectangle layer. Resize if needed until it fits inside the rectangle outline. I used the misted version of this Zindy tube and resized it by 90% two times. Duplicate your tube. Make the top tube layer active and go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur-Radius 5. Grab your eraser tool, and erase the part of the tube where the eyes are and the lips are only. Try not to get erase any other parts. Close off your background layer and merge visible.

Copy and paste the butterfly where you think it would look best. Add the same drop shadow.

Choose a matching paper from the kit, select your background layer, and copy and paste the paper onto your canvas. Apply a mask of choice to this layer. Merge Group.

Copy and paste one of the flowers from the kit onto your tag where you think it would look best. Add drop shadow.

Add your name and copyright information. Crop and resize as needed.

Take your freehand selection tool (lasso) and while holding down your shift key, select around the eyes and lips. Go to your layers pallet and duplicate that layer two times, so you will have a total of three layers with the tube. Close off the top 2, make the bottom layer active, and go to DSB flux bright noise, Intensity 36 Mix, and apply. Close off that layer, open the middle layer and click on it. Go back to bright noise and click on the mix dot once and apply. Close off that layer and open up the top layer and click on it. Go back to bright noise and click the mix dot twice and apply. Selections-Select None.

Open Animation Shop. Go back to PSP and close off the top two tube layers and go to Edit-Copy Merged. Go back to AS and paste as new layer.
Go back to PSP and close off the bottom layer and open the middle layer (keep the top layer closed off too), edit-copy merged. Go back to AS and paste after current frame.

Go back to PSP and close off the middle layer and open up the top layer (keep the bottom layer closed off too), edit-copy merged. Go back to AS and paste after current frame.

Check your animation to make sure it looks right, then save as gif and you are done!
