Mirror on the Wall

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*Font of choice, I used Romantically YoursROB & pegsannahmk

* A misty background mask and one round mask

*"Queen of Hearts" PTU taggers kit by Vicki of Gemini Creationz. I also used the cookie from the kit that was custom made by Lisa K of Sophisticated Imaging.

*OPTIONAL- Xero Fritillary

Let's Begin--

Open a 700 X 700 white canvas.

Open the curtains in the kit, c/p them onto your canvas, resize as needed, add a drop shadow, and place in the center top of your canvas.

Open the throne in the kit, c/p it onto your canvas, resize as needed, add a drop shadow and place it in the bottom left side of your canvas.

Open the throne base from the kit, c/p onto your canvas, resize as needed, add a drop shadow, position underneath the throne.

Open the cookie from the kit, c/p onto your canvas, resize as needed, add drop shadow, position on the throne base with the throne. See my tag for reference. Or you can position her how you want.

Open the scepter from the kit, c/p it onto your canvas, resize as needed, add drop shadow, position it in your cookies hand.

Open the candles from the kit, c/p them onto your canvas, resize as needed, add drop shadow, place on the right hand side.

Open the checkerboard floor from the kit, c/p it onto your canvas, resize as needed, position underneath everything as shown in my tag. Don't worry about the square edges sticking out of the sides right now.

Open frame01 from the kit, c/p it onto your canvas, resize it down, and position it in the middle of the curtains, see my tag for reference.

Click inside the frame with your magic wand, go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 4, add a new raster layer and flood fill with a grey/silver gradient (PSP comes with a few to choose from), selections-select none. Move the gradient layer below the frame layer.

Click inside the frame again with your magic wand, copy and paste the cookie on your canvas again, resize down, and move her so that her face is showing in the mirror, selection-invert, hit your delete key. Selections-select none. Move the cookie layer below the frame layer. Lower the opacity just a little bit.

Open a paper of choice from the kit, click on your background layer then c/p the paper onto your canvas. Apply mask of choice, merge group. Apply Zero Fritillary filter if you want......

Click on the floor layer, apply the round mask of choice, merge group.  Use your eraser at a lower strength to fix any sharp edges from the masks.

Crop and resize as needed.

Add name and text of choice.

Add copyright information.

Save as jpg!
