My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!
Supplies Needed: *Paint Shop Pro *"Gothique Rouge" PTU scrap kit by Yarrow which is available for purchase at Digital Chaos HERE. Visit her blog HERE *Font of Choice *Mask of choice *Tube of choice. I used the awesome artwork of Dark Yarrow, which can be purchased at MPT. Please do not use the same tube without the proper license.Let's Begin-- Open a 650 X 650 white canvas. Open frame14 from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Use your freehand selection tool to select around the edges of the frame, this will work better instead of using your magic wand because of the decorative elements on the frame. Open a paper of choice, copy and paste it onto your canvas, go to Selection-Invert, hit your delete key, go to Selections-Select None. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Add drop shadow to the frame. Open the stamp from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Resize it up to 120%. Move it below the frame and paper layer. Click on your background layer. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill it with a matching color from the kit or your tube. Open your mask of choice in PSP. Go to Layers-New Mask Layer-From Image, choose the mask from the drop down menu and click ok. Once the mask is applied, right click on the mask in your layer palette and merge group. Open the frame05 from the kit. Copy and paste it on your canvas. Rotate the frame to the left by 90 degrees. Resize it by 80%. Rotate it again to the right by 15 degrees. Use your freehand selection tool again to select around the frame. Open another paper from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, go to Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Open your tube in PSP. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Position it so it looks like it's standing in the frame but keep it on top of the frame. Add drop shadow to the tube. Duplicate it and move the original below the frame. Close off the top copy of your tube, click on the bottom copy of the tube, and use your eraser tool to erase the parts sticking out from the bottom of the frame. Now open back up the top copy of your tube and click on it, then erase the bottom parts of the tube all the way to the inside edge of the bottom of the frame. Add drop shadow to the frame. If using the same tube as I am, copy and paste the picture part of the tube onto your canvas. Add drop shadow and resize as needed. Add any other elements from the kit that you wish to add. I added a couple of flowers and a couple of the cross elements and put them on the flowers. See my tag for reference. Crop and resize the tag as needed. Add name and copyright information. Save as jpg!
