No Chance

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*Font of choice

*Mask of Choice

*Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

*"Romantique" PTU kit by Yarrow available for purchase at Digital Chaos HERE. I also used elements from the Freebie-Add on that is available for download on Yarrow's blog. Visit her blog HERE.

*Tube of choice. I used the gorgeous artwork of Ismael Rac which can be purchased at AMI. Please do not use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so.

**NOTE--All of my Ismael Rac tubes were purchased when he was with MPT, which is why the tags show my MPT license #. I have not purchased any of his tubes from AMI yet, so I do not have a license # to exchange.**

Let's Begin--

Open a 600 X 600 White Canvas.

Open the round frame from the freebie add on, copy and paste it onto your canvas. Click inside the frame with your magic wand and go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 3, then open a paper of choice and copy and paste it onto your canvas, go to Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Move the paper layer below the frame layer.

Open the heart element from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas and resize it by 90%. Place it in the middle of the frame but on top of it.

Open one of the heart buttons from the freebie add on. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Resize it by 90%. Place it at the top of the frame. Add drop shadow. Duplicate it and move it down to the bottom of the frame. Duplicate it again and place it on the middle right hand side of the frame and duplicate that and move it on the middle left hand side of the frame. You should have something like this:

Now open another heart button from the freebie add on, copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize by 90%, add drop shadow, and place it in one of the open spots between the buttons that are already there. Duplicate it and place it in another open spot and keep doing this until you have something that looks like this:

Add any text of choice if you want on a curve. The way to do this is to change your background and foreground colors to the color you want the text to be, then make the background null for now. Grab your ellipse tool, set the width to around 3, draw out a circle to the size you want or where you want the text to be, DO NOT CONVERT TO RASTER LAYER!!! Click on your text tool, open your background color, and move the cursor to the edge of the circle until an A appears, then click and type the text you want and click ok. Then go to Selections-From Vector Object, and the ant will appear around the text, go to Selections-Promote Selection to Layer, go to your layers palette and delete the vector layer of the circle with the text, then go to Selections-Select None. Now your text should be curved and there should be no circle. Add a gradient glow to your text if you wish and a drop shadow.

Open your tube of choice, copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize if needed, add drop shadow, and position in the middle.

Open the journal block from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 45%,rotate it to the left by 15 degrees, add drop shadow, move it to the left side of the tube.

Open an alpha of choice from the kit. Use your selection tool to select one letter from the name you wish to put on your tag. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 45%, add drop shadow, and place it on top of the journal block. Repeat this step for each letter of the name until you have the whole name on the tag.

Click on your background layer, open a paper of choice from the kit, copy and paste it onto your canvas, apply a mask of choice and merge group.

Add copyright information. Crop and resize if needed.
