My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*font of choice

*Grass blade picture tube that is included with PSP

*"Freakyville" PTU scrap kit by Cinnamon Scraps available for purchase at Sophisti-Scraps HERE. Please visit her blog HERE.

Let's Begin--

Open a 700 X 700 White Canvas!

Open the hills from the kit. Copy and paste them onto your canvas. Place it towards the bottom of your canvas. Add drop shadow of 0,0,88,8.

Open a house of choice from the kit. Copy/paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 50%, place it on the green hill towards the bottom. Add drop shadow.

Repeat the above step, choose 3 more houses, resizing them, adding drop shadow, and placing them in different places on the hills. Use my tag as a reference.

Do the same thing above with 3 different trees from the kit! Place the trees by the houses on the hills.

Grab your picture tube tool and select grass blades. Change the scale to 12. Add a new raster layer and add a few blades of grass at the bottom of one of the trees. Do the same thing to the other trees but be sure to add an new raster layer before your add the grass so that you can move the grass if you need to.

Open a bird of choice from the kit. Copy/paste it onto your canvas, resize it by 30%, add drop shadow, and position it on a tree branch. Add another bird in the same way on a different tree if you wish to.

Now, close off your background layer and merge visible. Open your background layer.

Open frame5 from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Click on your merged "village" layer and resize it by 90%.Keep resizing it by 90% until it fits perfectly inside the frame. Add drop shadow to the "village".

Click on your frame layer, grab magic wand, click inside the frame.

Selections-Modify-Expand by 3. Open paper3 from the kit. I chose this paper because the color looks like the sky. Copy/paste it onto your canvas.

Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Move the paper layer below the village layer.
Close off your background layer, merge visible, open background layer. Add drop shadow to merged layer. Move the merged layer up a little bit on your canvas.

Open a couple of branches from the kit. You will need to resize them by 50% and add the drop shadow. Move them to the sides like shown in my tag.
Add any other elements you would like from the kit, use my tag as a reference if needed.

Crop and resize as needed.

If you don't add any other tubes to your tag then please put "Scrap kit by Cinnamon Scraps

Add text of choice.

Save as jpg!
