The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!

Supplies Needed:

*Paint Shop Pro

*Font of choice

*My word art HERE

* Tag Template #76 by Missy of Divine Intentionz HERE

*"Tis the Season" PTU scrap kit by Clarey which is available for purchase from Clarey's Designs. Please visit her blog HERE.

*Tube or image of choice. I am using the sexy artwork of Elias Chatzoudis which is available for purchase from MPT. Please do not use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so.

Let's Begin--

Open the template in PSP. Shift+D to duplicate it and close the original.

Go to Image-Canvas Size, and change the numbers to 700 X 700. Click on the background layer and flood fill it with white.

Delete the credit layer.

Click on the circle 1 layer. Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat, copy and paste a paper of choice from the kit, Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Delete the original circle1 layer. Repeat this step for the circle2 and both of the background frame layers of the template but use a different paper from the kit each time.

Repeat the above steps for the brackets but use the gold paper from the kit. Once you are done click on your new bracket layers, Go to Effects-Plug-Ins-Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact Glass. Keep it at the factory default settings or you can play around with the settings if you want to.

Click on the frame1 layer, Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat, add a new raster layer, flood fill with white, selections-select none. Delete the original frame layer. Repeat this for the frame2 layer.

Add a gradient glow to each one of the circles, with the settings of FAT, size 3. Add drop shadow to them as well.

Open the holly doodle. Copy and paste it onto your canvas and drag the layer behind everything else but on top of the background layer.

Open the gold glitter trail and add it on top of the holly doodle.

Open the bling swirl and add it on top of the circles.

Add any other elements you wish to add.

Open the journal card from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas. Resize it by 80%, rotate it slightly to the left.

Open the word art I made. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, move it on top of the journal card and rotate it evenly with the journal card. Add a gradient glow if you wish.

I added a couple of candy canes to each side of the journal tag, you can do that or add any other elements that you wish.

Add your name and copyright information.

Crop and resize if needed.

Save as jpg!
