My tutorial require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!
Supplies Needed:
*Paint Shop Pro
*Font of Choice, I used Kristen ITC
*"Kaci" PTU kit by
DMK Designs
available for purchase from Simply Beautiful Scraps
HERE
**Tube of choice. I am using the sexy artwork of Ismael Rac
available
for purchase from AMI. Please do not
use the same tube unless you have the proper license to do so!
**NOTE--All of my Ismael Rac tubes were
purchased when he was with MPT and so the tags still show my MPT license. I have
not purchased any of his tubes from AMI yet, so I do not have a license to do an
exchange**
Let's Begin--
Open the template in PSP.
Shift+D to duplicate it, close the original. Delete the credit layer.
Click on the large rectangle. Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat, copy and
paste a paper of choice from the kit, Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Delete
original rectangle layer. I added a white gradient glow, that's optional. Add
drop shadow.
Select the large circle layer and repeat the above steps with a different paper
or color of choice.
Do the same thing with the frame back layer but don't add a gradient glow to
this one.
Select the frame back layer and go to Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat,
open your close up of choice, copy and paste it and position it on the selected
area, Selections-Invert, hit delete key. Change the opacity to about 88% and
change the layer property to Luminance Legacy.
Select the frame layer, Selections-Select All, Float, Defloat, new raster layer,
flood fill with a color from the kit, Selection-Select None. Delete original
frame layer. Add drop shadow.
Open main tube of choice, copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize if needed,
add drop shadow, position to the left side.
Open a buckle of choice from the kit. Copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize
it by 35%, move it to the top left hand corner of the large rectangle,
Image-Flip, add drop shadow, Duplicate it then Image mirror. See my tag for
reference.
Add any other elements of choice from the kit. I added a couple of butterflies,
the beaded string and a heart charm. I erased parts of the heart charm to make
it appear as if the top of the beaded string it coming through the charms loop
hole. (if that makes any sense, lol)
Add name and copyright info.
Crop and resize if needed.
Save as jpg!
